Task Packages

Task Packages allow you to define a collection of tasks that can be issued at once to a set of users.

This is useful in scenarios where you have a documentation pack that you want to send to users, e.g. new hires.

You can issue Task Packages to users using the JML Web Part, or the Power Platform connector.

Package Details

All task packages must have a Package Name, and optionall a Description, Tags and a Template Group.

Task Package Tags are defined in the Administration Center Settings page, under Miscellaneous Properties.

The Template Group dropdown is populated from the Notification Templates, pulling the distinct Template Group that may have been defined for templates.

Task Details

When you define one or more tasks, you specify the basic details for each task that would be created. You must provide a Path as this is mandatory, and it is highly recommended to set a Title as this will be displayed the user. A description can also give the recipient clearer information about the document that has been sent to them to read.
